What a breeze today has been – No waiting for hours for a pass – I now have one with not one discernable English word on it but it seems to open all the doors. Even the date it runs out is not in English nor on the Western Calendar and requires a calculator to work it out.
I went Straight onto base through all three checkpoints and did a whole day teaching,
Tomorrow it seems I will get a big beaten up 7 seater Honda Odyssey bus thing as my run about as the rest of the Crawley boys are going home. Perhaps I will start a bus service or maybe tours of the area or desert camping.
I did have a hot chlorine swim just before the 6.30 sunset and the air temperature was almost pleasant. Surely I am not getting used to the heat am I?
The microwave is amazing in fact it is so amazing I can’t cook with it. I can get it to play a choice of tunes though instead of cooking – Oh Suzanna – Auld lang syne to name but a few – hours of fun but cooking will eventually become a necessary. Or perhaps I can lash a steak on the roof of the Odyssey and roast it in the sun.
